The Israel Defense Fund is dedicated to supporting communities in times of crisis. Originally founded to aid critical needs in Israel to support the IDF and all the victims in the October 7 attack, we now extend our mission to assist victims of natural disasters, including the recent devastating Southern California fires. Latest Updates on the California Fires
The Eaton and Palisades Fires in Southern California have covered over 38,000 acres and destroyed over 18.000 structures including homes, businesses, grocery stores, schools, places of worship and more. Multiple lives have been lost, and the Eaton and Palisades fires are now 100% contained. 29 lives have been lost in these horrific fires. Last updated February 3, 2025 at 10:30am.

At Israel Defense Fund, we are committed to providing aid in times of crisis. We do not have any salary employees and operate on a strictly volunteer basis in order to deliver 100% of all donations to the source. Due to the large scale of devastation caused by the Southern California Wildfires our current mission is to help all those directly affected by the fires and to assist in their recovery efforts.
